How Puzzle Bloom handles your family's information β in plain language, for iOS and Android.
Puzzle Bloom (the "app", "we", or "us") is an offline Sudoku and logic puzzle game designed for children aged about 3β12, with picture and number puzzles, an adventure map, mini-games, daily challenges, and a parent dashboard. It is available on Apple iOS and Google Android. This Privacy Policy explains what the app does and does not do with information on your device. Puzzle Bloom is published by Dowble.
This policy applies to the Puzzle Bloom mobile app on iPhone, iPad, and Android. It does not cover third-party websites or stores (Apple App Store, Google Play) that you may open from the app at your request.
Puzzle Bloom stores the following locally on your device only, in the app's private storage (iOS sandbox / Android per-app storage). None of it is transmitted off the device, and none of it identifies you or your child.
Puzzles solved, coins, stickers, daily streak, and adventure-map progress, so the game remembers where your child left off.
To help parents see learning activity, the app keeps simple, on-device counters such as total play time, time per day for the last few days, difficulty reached, and basic skill progress (pattern, logic, memory). These are anonymous numbers stored on the device β they are never uploaded or linked to any identity.
Your choices β such as voice guidance, light/dark/system theme, language, reminder time, and the daily play-time limit β are saved locally so they persist between sessions.
Puzzle Bloom does not access contacts, location, photos, the microphone, camera, accounts, Health data, or advertising identifiers (IDFA / GAID). It does not ask anyone to create a profile.
Puzzle Bloom requests only what it needs for optional, parent-controlled features. The child does not need to grant anything to play puzzles.
| Capability | Platform | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| On-device text-to-speech (iOS AVSpeech / Android TTS) |
iOS & Android | To read encouragement and gentle hints aloud during play. Speech is generated on the device; nothing is recorded or sent. Voice can be turned off in Settings. |
| Local notifications Android: POST_NOTIFICATIONS |
Android (optional) iOS if reminders are offered |
To remind a child about the Daily Challenge at a time a parent chooses. Notifications are scheduled on the device only (no server push). You can deny or revoke this permission; puzzles still work. |
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED |
Android | To re-register a Daily Challenge reminder after the device restarts, if reminders are on. |
VIBRATE |
Android | Gentle haptic / notification vibration. Not used to collect data. |
| Open another app (Safari / Chrome, Mail, Share, App Store / Play Store) |
iOS & Android | Only when a parent taps Rate, Share, or Send feedback (behind the parent gate). Puzzle Bloom does not send data itself; the other app handles whatever you choose to send. |
The Android release build is built without the INTERNET permission, so
it is technically incapable of sending your data over the network. On iOS, the app does not contact our servers and
does not include analytics or advertising SDKs. Debug/profile builds used only by developers may include Internet
access so Flutter hot-reload can work β those builds are not the store versions.
Puzzle Bloom does not use App Tracking Transparency, does not request IDFA, and does not use the Advertising ID on Android.
Information stored by the app is used solely to provide its features: saving progress and rewards, showing parents an activity overview, remembering preferences, and (if enabled) firing a local Daily Challenge reminder. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, cross-app tracking, or any purpose unrelated to the gameplay you see in the app.
We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any information to anyone. Your child's progress and stats never leave the device and are never sent to us or to any third party. No serversNo accountsNo cloud No tracking
Apple and Google may process whatever you do in their stores (downloads, ratings). That is governed by Apple's and Google's own policies, not by us, and does not include Puzzle Bloom gameplay data.
From Settings (Android) or the parent dashboard (iOS), a parent can choose to rate Puzzle Bloom, share it, or email us. Tapping these hands off to another app you already have β the App Store / Play Store, Mail, or the system share sheet β and you remain in control of whatever you send there. If you email us, we will see the contents of the message you choose to send (for example, your feedback and the app version). We use such messages only to respond to you and improve the app.
External links and store / mail actions sit behind a simple parent gate so young children are less likely to leave the game by accident.
Game data stays on your device until you remove it. You can:
We hold no copy of your child's progress, so there is nothing for us to delete on a server.
All processing happens on-device. App data is kept in the platform's private per-app storage, which other apps cannot read. Because nothing is uploaded, there is no server-side database that could be breached. You remain in control through iOS and Android permission settings at all times.
Puzzle Bloom is designed for children and is intended to be family-friendly. We take children's privacy seriously and aim to comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU/UK GDPR provisions for children, Apple's Kids Category rules, and the Google Play Families policy.
Because the app collects no data and has no online component that gathers information, it poses no data-collection risk to users of any age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have somehow received a child's personal information (for example in a feedback email), contact us and we will delete it.
Puzzle Bloom does not integrate advertising networks, analytics SDKs, crash reporters, social logins, or third-party trackers. The app uses only standard platform components for local storage, on-device voice, local notifications, and animations.
This policy is meant to match how you should fill in store forms:
Depending on where you live, you (and, for a child, the supervising parent or guardian) may have rights under privacy laws such as the GDPR or CCPA β including access, correction, and deletion. Since Puzzle Bloom does not collect or hold any personal data on our side, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf β full control rests with you on the device (section 7).
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app's features change. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date above and publish the updated policy at this address. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
