How Poke Me handles your information — in plain language.
Poke Me (the "app", "we", or "us") is an Android reminder utility. It shows a recurring reminder — as a notification and an optional pop-up — at the interval and during the active hours you choose, with a message you set (for example, "Drink Water"). This Privacy Policy explains what the app does and does not do with information on your device.
Poke Me stores the following locally on your device only. None of it is transmitted off the device.
Your preferences — reminder interval, active hours, the reminder message you type, sound and vibration choices, and whether reminders are muted — are saved locally so the app can remind you as configured. The reminder message is text you enter yourself; the app does not read it for any other purpose.
Poke Me does not access your contacts, location, photos, microphone, camera, accounts, or any other personal data. It has no login and no user profile.

Poke Me is built without the INTERNET permission, so it is technically
incapable of sending your data over the network. The Google advertising ID (AD_ID) is explicitly removed.
Your settings are used solely to deliver the reminders you configure and to remember your preferences between sessions. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the features you see in the app.

All processing happens on-device and app data is kept in Android's private per-app storage, which other apps cannot read. Because nothing is uploaded, there is no server-side database that could be breached. You remain in control through Android's permission system at all times.
Poke Me is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app collects no data and has no online component, it poses no data-collection risk to users of any age.
Poke Me does not integrate advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or social login providers. It does not embed any third-party trackers, and the advertising identifier is removed from the app.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. Since Poke Me does not collect or hold any of your personal data on our side, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf — full control rests with you on your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app's features change. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date above and publish the updated policy at this address. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
