How Lulla handles your information — in plain language.
Lulla (the "app", "we", or "us") is a mobile app that plays soothing white noise and sleep sounds, lets you build custom sound mixes and bedtime routines, shows a calming night light, and helps you track your baby's sleep. It is designed for parents and caregivers of newborns, babies and toddlers. This Privacy Policy explains what the app does and does not do with information on your device.
Lulla stores the following locally on your device only, in the app's private storage. None of it is transmitted to us or to any third party.
If you use the sleep-tracking feature, the start/end times, whether it was a nap, and which sounds were playing are saved so the app can show your history, weekly chart and statistics.
Any notes you add — such as mood, sleep quality, feeding, diaper or medicine reminders — are stored on your device so you can review patterns over time. This content is yours; we never read or upload it.
Custom mixes you save, bedtime routines you create, and the sounds/mixes you mark as favourite are kept locally.
Your optional entries (baby's name and age group) and your settings — theme, accent colour, playback options, reminder times, and premium status — are stored locally on the device.
Lulla does not access your contacts, call logs, location, photos, microphone, camera, SMS, or accounts. It does not use a microphone and does not record any audio.

Lulla does not request internet, location, or storage-scanning permissions to collect your data. Its features run entirely on-device.
Information stored by the app is used solely to provide its features: playing and mixing sounds, running timers and reminders, showing the night light, and keeping your sleep history, journal and preferences. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the features you see in the app.
Lulla offers optional Premium features through in-app purchases and subscriptions. These transactions are processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their own privacy policies. We do not receive or store your name, card number, or other payment information — the app only records, locally, whether Premium is active so it can unlock features. No payment data collected by us

All processing happens on-device and app data is kept in the operating system's private per-app storage, which other apps cannot read. Because nothing is uploaded, there is no server-side database that could be breached. You remain in control through your device's permission and settings at all times.
Lulla is a tool for parents and caregivers and is intended to be operated by an adult. While the app is used to soothe babies and toddlers, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Any baby details (name, age group) are optional, entered by the adult user, and stored only on the device. Because the app collects no data on our side and has no online component, it poses no data-collection risk to users of any age.
Lulla does not integrate advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or social login providers, and it does not embed any third-party trackers. The only external parties involved are the app stores (Google Play / Apple) when you make an optional purchase, as described above.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. Since Lulla does not collect or hold any of your personal data on our side, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf — full control rests with you on your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app's features change. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date above and publish the updated policy at this address. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
